 Who are we??
The L.I.G.H.T. Homeschool Group is a group of families from the South Oklahoma City/Moore area who have joined together in an effort to support one another on our God given challenge to educate our children. We believe we have been called by God to home educate our children in an effort to reach educational excellence and family wholeness.
Vision:
To support families who have been called by God to home educate their children in reaching educational excellence and family wholeness.
Our Goals:
1. To positively encourage new homeschoolers and support those families currently homeschooling.
2. To effectively promote the understanding and positive image of homeschooling.
3. To diligently provide resources to strengthen families and their homeschools.
4. To actively develop a Christian mindset and lifestyle amongst our members.
To accomplish our goals, we offer monthly support group meetings, monthly field trips, parties for special occasions, teen/tween gatherings, e-newsletters, monthly Mom's Night Outs, Dad's Night Outs, and some Family Night Outs, plus MANY other activities throughout the year. We also have a MEMBER'S ONLY Yahoo group that you will be invited to upon membership. This is a wonderful way to have your homeschooling questions answered by seasoned homeschool moms!
